Self-refer for NHS talking therapies

Talking therapies can help you with feelings of stress, low mood and worry. Your local IAPT team offers talking therapies. They are there to help you lift your mood. We encourage anyone who is finding life’s daily demands difficult to reach out. When you get in touch, there may be a waiting list. The IAPT team will let you know if this is the case and what to expect. You can find out more and refer yourself on the IAPT website or speak to your GP, when you feel ready.

Booster vaccinations for seasonal flu and covid will be offered to all patients aged 50 and over and all patients in clinical risk groups.

Appointments are still available for Saturday clinics at Ampleforth Surgery on 12th and 19th November and on Tuesday 29th November so please book an appointment now by calling the surgery and choosing Option 4.  We expect that these will be our final clinics due to vaccine availability.  If you are not able to attend these clinics please contact the National Booking Service online here or by calling 119 to book an appointment elsewhere.

Patients aged under 18 and in a clinical risk group can book an appointment for a nasal spray flu vaccination now, but unfortunately we are not able to offer this age group the covid autumn booster so please contact the National Booking Service online here or by calling 119.

Patient Questionnaire Responses

We received a total of 215 responses to questionnaires following appointments at the surgery in August.  We would like to thank patients for taking time to complete these, and a summary of the results and a selection of the positive comments from our patients is below.  We will be looking further at comments where issues with our service were raised to see where we can improve.
