When We Are Closed

NHS 111 operates the out-of-hours GP service as well as offering non urgent health advice. If the surgery is closed please call 111 for medical advice and they will direct you to the most appropriate service.  Calls are free from both landlines and mobile phones.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

The following leaflet provides information about the services available and choosing the service you need.
