We are aware that there has been a problem with some of these test results across the country. As far as we know, none of our patients are affected and they should continue to live a healthy lifestyle and take medication as prescribed which will be safe to do. We will contact anyone who may have been affected if it turns out our lab results have been affected.
Flu and Covid Vaccinations - Autumn 2025
For those who are eligible, we will shortly be inviting you for your annual flu and Covid vaccinations. Those with a mobile phone will receive a text message with a link to book an appointment.
For autumn 2025, the COVID-19 booster will no longer be routinely offered to patients aged 65 to 74.
The updated eligibility now includes:
• Adults aged 75 and over • Residents in care homes for older adults • Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed
This change reflects updated guidance from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), which aims to focus protection on those at highest risk of serious illness.
